Welcome to the Ottawa Carleton Educational Space Simulation Wiki.
Introduction
Commonly known as Spacesim, the OCESS is a non-profit organisation dedicated to learning and teaching about Space, Space Science, and Space Exploration.
This Wiki is designed to replace the Big Book of Sim, which was an endeavour to capture the history of Spacesim in an easily readable format. By using the Wiki system, we hope to encourage alumni of Spacesim to drop in and give their two cents' worth on Sim History and Sim Lore.
The wiki is the most important online source of information on Spacesim's history, procedures, and lore. However, it should not be regarded as static, and in fact, you are all highly encouraged to add articles about anything related to Spacesim. Don't forget to help me clean up currently existing articles, and continue to add content to all those that are underwritten.
If you don't have a member page on the wiki, you should either create one yourself, or contact the current Webmaster or Education Commander. The link to the format should be found below.
Keeping the procedures on the wiki updated will allow us to use it as a source during missions. Procedures used to be sorted nicely on the wiki, now they are a little bit everywhere. There is an ongoing project to update the procedures. If you would like to help, but are unsure how, please ask, as we would love to have your contributions.
This is the one way we will be able to preserve the memory of Spacesim forever, so start sharing your knowledge with the current and future members of OCESS.
