Spacesim has many computers, and to distinguish them when networking they are given names taken from mythology, science-fiction, history, and other disciplines.

Simulator Computers

FU Runs current server software Named after Alex Foo and Brian Foo, with the spelling altered so as to afford a double meaning
A.C. Clarke Engineering simulator software Named after the British science fiction writer
Nebula Simulator software Named after the astronomical object

Astronaut Computers

B62-Teacher Habitat ORBIT Came with its current name along with a good deal of handy software that Spacesim does not own. Resetting the computer, the only way to change its name, would also lose the software.
