Hindsight 2020 was OCESS' sixth mission to Mars, conducted to study the planet's geological formations, soil composition, and potential for future human settlement. Facing mounting pressure from the Canadian Government and the Planetary Protection Society over their gross violation of international law on their previous mission, OCESS was forced to operate the mission within a limited timeframe.
