Virtual Private Network

The Virtual Private Network or VPN developed by the OCDSB is a file transfer mechanism that allows the computer network at 440 Albert to connect to the computer network in the Spacesim Office.

Uses of the VPN

• Admiral Jim Magwood's ORBIT software has a program called SERVER that relays data files between computers over the VPN.
• CAPCOM and AUXCOM use Windows NetMeeting over the VPN.
