Alumni are past Spacesim members who have graduated and live in various parts of the world. Despite having passed out of this world, they routinely help maintain and administer both the website and forum, as well as attending work sessions to lend their experience and expertise to help improve the organization. Though not members of Spacesim per se, they are still considered one of the Spacesim groups because of their contributions, and are given the honorary title of Vice-Admiral. Though not a true hierarchy position, Vice-Admirals are always keenly listened to for their advice.
