Common Positions are those duty stations that are nearly identical in practice in both the Habitat and in Mission Control.
Common Positions
There are 4 common positions:
The position NETWORK serves as a fifth common station, though it is only ever manned in a set-up or troubleshooting role.
Training
Each common station requires certification in only one of Mission Control or Habitat ratings to be considered certification in both Mission Control and Habitat ratings.
