The alumni do not officialy have any powers outside the forums and website. However, they do have signifigant influence on the dicissions on the commanders. It serves well to listen to them. The same goes for parents and teachers other than the admiral.
Simulators are their own group and appear to have their own heiarchy. Hoewver, all attempts to establish a cultural exchange with their species have resulted in limited success. Their social structure deserves no further study by the Space Sim Zoological Commitee.
