:How would you propose to make your "engine" an actual part of the simulation instead of just something that is aesthetically valuable? Dr. Magwood proposed we create several panel things like they've got in Jeffries tubes in Startrek. We make a really simple circuit, ''and'' make it aesthetically pleasing, and then we hook the circuit up to the lights panel. That way, the "engine" is actually monitored by the "hal system" (remember how CMES was everything, and just had many different incarnations? That's my vision of Hal.), which is how it would be on an actual space ship. In conclusion, the old engine taskforce is pointless. The new one will be cool (cause we'll do it Startrek isolinear chip style! Bah! who needs bioneural gelpacks? :P) [[User:Stefanido|Stefanido]] 22:47, 13 April 2006 (EDT)
