The term Mission-Specific refers to ranks within the administrative hierarchy of Spacesim that only take effect during the main mission. It is worth noting that mission-specific ranks are different from mission roles; the former describes positions of power within the mission, frequently held by members who have no actual power at other times, while the latter can describe any position during the mission. A good example of the former would be Flight Director, while a good example of the latter would be Simulator.
Another term for Mission-Specific is Mission Mobilization. This is primarily used in old documents.
