The OCESS Procedures Manual provides a set of guidelines and protocols for pre-mission planning and training, as well as for normal mission operation.

Version

The OCESS Procedures Manual is in V0.3.

Note that no procedures contained here are official until at least V1.0.

New Version Numbers

  • One tenth shall be added to the version number by the Mission Commander if more than 10% of all procedures receive significant changes.
    • Up to a maximum of nine tenths
  • The version number will be rounded up to the next unity after passing an annual review conducted by the Mission Commander or designates

Ammendments

Pre V1.0

Prior to V1.0, just make any changes directly to the procedures in question, and add new procedures to the Procedures Table of Contents.

Post V1.0

After V1.0, ammendments must be made in the following way:

  • For a new procedure
  • For a new section of a procedure
    • Add a the section to the talk page of the procedures page
    • Request approval from the Mission Commander
  • For editing a previously approved section of a procedure
    • If a minor edit (spelling, clarification), make the change on the procedures page
    • If a major change (rewrite), copy to and edit on the talk page of the procedures page
    • Request approval from the Mission Commander
