:How would you propose to make your "engine" an actual part of the simulation instead of just something that is aesthetically valuable? Dr. Magwood proposed we create several panel things like they've got in Jeffries tubes in Startrek. We make a really simple circuit, ''and'' make it aesthetically pleasing, and then we hook the circuit up to the lights panel. That way, the "engine" is actually monitored by the "hal system" (remember how CMES was everything, and just had many different incarnations? That's my vision of Hal.), which is how it would be on an actual space ship. In conclusion, the old engine taskforce is pointless. The new one will be cool (cause we'll do it Startrek isolinear chip style! Bah! who needs bioneural gelpacks? :P) [[User:Stefanido|Stefanido]] 22:47, 13 April 2006 (EDT)

How would you propose to make your "engine" an actual part of the simulation instead of just something that is aesthetically valuable? Dr. Magwood proposed we create several panel things like they've got in Jeffries tubes in Startrek. We make a really simple circuit, and make it aesthetically pleasing, and then we hook the circuit up to the lights panel. :P) Stefanido 22:47, 13 April 2006 (EDT)

THIS IS NOT LORE!!!!!

The heading says it all. You're wrong Nevin. Stefanido 13:12, 14 April 2006 (EDT)

At first, when I read there was a power coupling page, I was slighty annoyed. Reading the first paragraph of it also had me thinking I'd need to put the page under alumni displeasure. After reading the rest of it, I realized the page is very legit. It was a well-written factual represenation of what occured, and was completely objective. Also, since it took the entire issue from an alpha standpoint, and not from a beta one, it also doesn't fall under "Lore". Like pages on Mission Control or Astronaut roles, this page should simply be edited normally. I've already toyed with it a bit, but as with all wiki projects, my changes are up for debate! - Avacar 16:42, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
