A Red Link is a link that appears red because the article it's linking to doesn't exist. Although some people suggest that seeing an "ugly" red link will motivate them to create a page, thus making the link the usual blue, the wiki standard is to make an article if at least one piece of information exists about that topic. The Wikipedia article is a Wikipedia-focused article on a similar topic.
