What the heck do you mean by Alpha? ---Wernstrum, Stargakat, Jonas 13:53, 7 November 2010 (EST)

Not only is it on the wiki, it is also written in the procedures. ---->Alpha-----> IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D! 21:05, 7 November 2010 (EST)
Still a ridiculously content-lacking article---Wernstrum, Stargakat, Jonas 22:14, 11 November 2010 (EST)
It is not an article, it is a user page. He is allowed to put whatever he wants on it so long as it doesn't offend anyone. IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D! 22:43, 11 November 2010 (EST)
wow, my talk page is full of hate already and it's the first time I've checked it!
I'll be beefing it up, I only did it at night AND on my 'pod so I'll even put pictures up!

also, wondering how you edit --Patrickpowns 16:47, 15 November 2010 (EST)

Little button labelled "Edit" at top of page. IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D! 17:47, 15 November 2010 (EST)

check that, embed pictures. Wasn't thinking properly. --Patrickpowns 20:20, 15 November 2010 (EST)

Embedding images is disabled in wiki code as to prevent bandwidth stealing from other sites. The only way to have images on pages is by downloading the images and uploading them to the wiki and then using the "image" code to display them. If I were you, I wouldn't put that image on your page. IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D! 21:22, 15 November 2010 (EST)
Also, please note that once you upload an image to the wiki, there is exactly one person who can remove them and he works at the University of Toronto Institute for Space Studies and has far too little time to remove things for us. My rule of thumb is that one image of yourself is just fine, but never upload more than one image that doesn't deal with Spacesim history. Also, when you're writing on a talk page, stick one more ":" in front of your post than the person before you did. This makes it easy to see who wrote what when you're reading the page. - Darth Wombat 20:36, 18 November 2010 (EST)

Member Page Vs. User Page

I have seen what you have done with your user page and it resembles most member pages. I'm just informing you of the ability to create a formal member page with your real name and such. Also your name on the List of Members Page would be more accurate if it liked to a formal page about you. IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D! 18:18, 17 November 2010 (EST)

25th Anniversary Article

Hey, Patrick. Today is an awesome day for the Wiki. I'm glad our Blitz went so well, mostly thanks to you. Just wanted to point out that in the 25th anniversary article I made the body of the page open for adding discussions, so feel free to add suggestions straight to that rather than to the talk page; it seems like it would be easier to just consolidate all that information in one place, right? If you don't like that format, you could just move all of the suggestions to the talk page. Whatever is most visible and easy to add to. Anyhow, thanks again. I'll be doing minor edits on and off for a good 15-30 minutes longer, and then I'll probably head off for the night - Darth Wombat 20:17, 13 October 2012 (EDT)

Kay, I'm going to be busy this week, but I'll also be on until 10:00ish. Technically about 85% of the thanks should go to you if we're basing this on word count, but we've definitely weakened the enemy airfields insofar as they cannot mount any retaliation. I'd say that's a success. We even got three new members on the wiki (Danica, a grade 9, should be putting up her member page soon), which is super. About the anniversary, my parents go to a family reunion with >100 people bianually, so I'll talk with her and see what I can find out about organizing huge get togethers.
10/10, Roll out team.
Awesome. I'm pumped. - Darth Wombat 13:56, 15 October 2012 (EDT)
