As an MCer for Genesis 2009, I declare the section poor on the reasoning that Night shifts were never really done during the mission except for maybe two nights. Yet again my memory is fuzzy, but I am sure of this. [[User:IronyFail|IronyFail in ANAGLYPH 3D!]] 17:42, 14 September 2010 (EDT)

Voluntary

As all shifts are strictly voluntary, how does a night shift's voluntariarity differ from that of a day shift? Stefanido 17:28, 1 March 2010 (EST)

At least this year day shifts were scheduled whereas night shifts were left completely blank, with Ben Paul as the scheduled Flight Director. Both got sort of messed up --- lots of people didn`t show up for day shifts, and a whole lot of people, like I, sometimes left before their shifts finished, but at least at all times during the day Mission Control was theoretically full. Night shifts were a lot more haphazard, and as it happened Ben took one night, I took a night, and interrim directors took a night, with about 5 people, 2 people and 8 people in Mission Control respectively. - Darth Wombat 22:42, 1 March 2010 (EST)

Notability

If both Samuel and Ben were MC, then why have both of them on here as most night shifts? Can it be determined who did the most night shifts as a simmie? Stefanido 18:07, 2 March 2010 (EST)

As far as I know, the simmies slept at night. Ben did Wed. and Friday nights, and Samuel did Thurs.---Q-Cumber 18:10, 2 March 2010 (EST)
If this is true then only Bryce and Ben are notable under this section, IMHO. Stefanido 18:12, 2 March 2010 (EST)
Um, he was in MC for 25 straight hours. That sounds fairly notable---Q-Cumber 18:15, 2 March 2010 (EST)
Awake, too! - Darth Wombat 18:50, 2 March 2010 (EST)
Sorry. I thought we were just going for most in each division. 25 hrs is pretty notable. Stefanido 20:28, 4 March 2010 (EST)

Cleanup

Samuel, I don't understand completely your "cleanup" on March 4. You deleted the paragraph on previous night shifts (rather lack thereof). Before that it was a decently-sized article, so the application of a stub tag after makes no sense. ---BenzyneTalk Page 16:50, 14 March 2010 (EDT)

Yeah, I honestly do not remember doing this. I probably accidentally wrote over the second two paragraphs without noticing. Anyways, it's fixed now. - Darth Wombat 17:51, 14 March 2010 (EDT)
