Talk:Yvonne Ho
From OCE Space Simulation
She is only a tangential member, so I think this page should be deleted. ---Q-Cumber 17:15, 9 March 2010 (EST)
- especially since UTSDC is not official Spacesim business. However, since she has been to some work sessions I think that she should remain on the list of members - Darth Wombat 23:00, 9 March 2010 (EST)
- Why is UTSDC not considered official Spacesim business? Stefanido 23:12, 9 March 2010 (EST)
- People who aren't Spacesim members are participating and not all members are participating. Most importantly, participating in UTSDC doesn't add to the club. - Darth Wombat 23:17, 9 March 2010 (EST)
- I would direct you to our Mission Statement. How is participating in a space-related engineering contest under the OCESS banner not promoting a greater understanding of space exploration and research? For comparison, my other group, the Waterloo Space Society, is an umbrella organisation that has many sub-teams: Astronaut Training, Mars Rover, Rocketry, Observational Astronomy, Satellite Design, Space Elevator Design, but still runs its own events: Movie Nights, Invited Lectures, Colloquia, etc. Spacesim shouldn't arbitrarily limit itself by excising parts of itself. -- Stefanido 23:30, 9 March 2010 (EST)
- Huzzah. Still doesn't solve the issue at hand here. ---Wernstrum, Stargakat, Jonas 10:20, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
- Solution: Don't delete the article. Yvonne is relevant to Spacesim because she has worked on a Spacesim sponsored project with other Spacesim members under the Spacesim banner. -- Stefanido 23:21, 18 April 2010 (EDT)
- But we can't edit it, 'long as we don't have her permission. ---Wernstrum, Stargakat, Jonas 11:14, 19 April 2010 (EDT)
- So get her permission. -- Stefanido 11:15, 19 April 2010 (EDT)
