Training Requirements

Mission Control

All Mission Controllers are required to have certification at the "Complete" rating or higher on each station that they man in Mission Control. The Mission Control Commander will take members' proficiencies into account when scheduling Mission Control Shifts in accordance with Mission Control Staffing Procedures.

Mission Controllers do not require certification on any Habitat positions. However, members with both Mission Control and Habitat certification on a position will be preferentially slotted for their desired shifts on that station.

There must always be at least one Mission Controller on duty with certification at the "Complete" rating or higher on the COMMAND station, and all FLIGHT must have certification "Complete" or higher in COMMAND.

There must always be at least one Mission Controller on duty with certification at the "Complete" rating or higher on the NETWORK station. This staffer can be tasked to duties other than Network Administration if that expertise is not required.
