The Virtual Private Network or VPN developed by the OCDSB is a file transfer mechanism that allows the computer network at 440 Albert to connect to the computer network in the Spacesim Office.

Uses of the VPN

Admiral Jim Magwood's ORBIT software has a program called SERVER that relays data files between computers over the VPN.
CAPCOM and AUXCOM use Windows NetMeeting over the VPN.
