He was the also the founder of the Ottawa Board of Education Space Simulation and an important member of the ISSS. To the Space Simulation members, Mr. Prichett's support was invaluable. He aided his students in many different endeavours, such as the establishment of the Elementary Education Programs. Without the dedication and enthusiasm that Mr. Prichett provided the OCESS would have been unable to continue.

Terry Pritchett also received a 1995 Certificate of Excellence from the Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence, in part because of his involvement in Spacesim.

Flight Suit

Mr. Pritchett's flight suit still resides at Spacesim, and is worn regularly by training mission astronauts.
