The Smoking Toilet of Doom refers to an incident which occurred at Space Camp. It was the practice of those running Space Camp to perform many demonstrations involving Liquid Nitrogen. As a final demonstration, any excess liquid nitrogen already pour out of the large liquid nitrogen container, and thus cannot/very hard to be re-stored and reused, is dumped into a toilet and flushed.
