Simulator

Simulators are the hidden 3rd Space Sim Group. Their role is to simulate natural events and circumstances during the mission.

Purpose

The simulator's role is to simulate the unpredictable events that would normaly occur during the course of a real space mission. Usualy simulators resort to meteor storms, terrorist attacks and other such disasters to break up the monotomy of a mission, though some of the more creative simulator stunts have involved aliens, explosive gas pockets on the planatary surface (accompanied by spectacular visual effect) and the creation of the infameous pink water.

Secrecy

In the past few years, the members of the simulator group were well known to most spacesim members. This has forced simulators to seperate themselves from the rest of the mission crew and resort to meteor storms and impacts to liven up missions. Lately, there has been a move to keep the members of this group secret from the rest of Space Sim. Hopefuly this will lead to possible infiltration of the 2 other groups of spacesim and consequently, more interesting scenarios.
