This article is about Space Sim Lore. It contains anecdotes or Spacesim mythology.

Signing the Airlock was the tradition of the astronauts signing their names and writing short messages on the drywall of the Habitat Airlock after the conclusion of the main mission. This was a tradition in the Hawking II but was discontinued for the Hawking III, due to the astronauts not wanting to contaminate the newly painted walls. These messages usually pertained to lore such as Blame Lists and Trogdor.

Possible Revival

Some Astronauts were pushing for the revival of this tradition at the end of Mission Daedalus. No news as of yet.
