Procedures: AUXCOM

Sign Language is a method of communication that uses hand positions and gestures in order to convey meaning. As it is a visual method of communication, it is used in tandem with the video system for Spacesim's purposes in the event of audio or textual failure.

Sign Language was first proposed in Spacesim's modern era by Charlotte Bonyun, who developed a specific Spacesim lexicon that currently resides on a sheet of paper in the Control Room.

Spacesim Standard Sign Language has been formally adopted as part of AUXCOM since 2009-10.

As of Mission Dragan, the sign language poster was taken down.
