It is advised to insert {{Expandarticle}} at the bottom of the page immediately after creating it. Doing so automagically includes the article in Category:Expansion Needed. You don't need to write any content.

Updating the Wiki

Our current priority (IMHO) should be updating the wiki's various out-of-date articles. I have thus created a template and category recognizing up-to-date pages. The plan is to have all articles lit up with that nauseatingly bright green banner by the time the mission starts, or someone other than the wiki team bothers to use the wiki. Whichever comes first. I decided that this was not working and have therefore deleted the template. It was a good idea, but the template got applied to articles that didn't deserve it, and the project was too large to be feasible. Also, it was a bit ugly and blunt.---Benzyne^{Talk Page} 13:29, 14 January 2010 (EST)

Perhaps rather than templating the ones that we have edited we should template the ones that we have not. That way we are working towards firstly defining what needs editing and secondly getting rid of the banner, rather than cluttering up every article of the wiki permanently. - Darth Wombat 18:06, 30 January 2010 (EST)

Please request articles by listing them below.

• General
  • Update various pages, like the List of Current Task Forces, and ESPECIALLY pages regarding the Habitat
  • Add Former Commanders to the Former Commanders category.
  • Clarification on Commander Roles
  • Media Centre
  • Spacesim Interdisciplinary Course
  • Misc Sim documents (Beginner's Guide to Sim, Mission Procedures etc.)
  • New Facilities
  • IVA
  • Scanning of Office archive materials, especially patches and photos
  • Tenth Anniversary
  • Simulator Area from old room and Simulator Loft (and Seven Deadly Sims)
  • Writeups of old missions using the archives, both analog and digital ( website archive )
  • Members, especially the graduating year list, and the old yearbook pictures available on Google Books
  • Stations: old SHPI, GUIDO, FIDO, etc. Also, DOMTOM and BONK, but I forget whether they are comps or stations.
  • Network and VPN. We have tons of diagrams that might as well go there.
  • Pins. Pics of blue, yellow, red, and rare green; BACKPACKS.
  • Callsign

  • Navigation Systems (not including Nav. Sensors)
  • The specific Hab rooms, such as the Longhouse
  • In-simulation things, like OCESS and the Hab
