This article is about Space Sim Lore. It contains anecdotes or Spacesim mythology.

Munchkin is a non-collectible card game published by Steve Jackson Games. It became a Sim phenomenon when member Ben Paul brought in his Munchkin Cthulhu and Muchkin Fu games early in the summer of 2006-07. They began to be played at lunch and both before and after school, and other members brought in their own sets, such as Brian and Alex Foos' Munchkin Impossible and Nevin Hotson's Star Munchkin. It was banned from the Sim Office halfway through 2007-08. It was then unbanned in 2008-09.

Sim Munchkin

Several Spacesim members attempted to design their own "Sim Munchkin", but this project was abandoned in June '07 when the forums were hacked, carrying the project with it. This project was restarted in May 2010 by Ben Paul using his saved notes.
