The Masons are the students in a course of masonry which takes place at 440 Albert, in a room formerly adjacent to OCESS. Because their activities consisted largely of building and demolishing brick walls, they produced large quantities of stone dust, which then travelled via osmosis under the connecting doors to fill Spacesim's facilities with dust. This dust was a major cause of electronics failure for Spacesim during the Hawking II era, and also had adverse health effects upon some astronauts, notably Nevin Hotson, who had a history of suffering from nosebleeds during missions. This was likely part of the reason the Masons were added to the 2005-2006 Blame List.
