Engineering Commander is a new position created for the 2009-10 year and given to Matthew Farkas-Dyck. This position entails the creation and regulation of both alpha and beta Habitat systems.

When questioned as to what he does most often as Engineering Commander, Matthew Farkas-Dyck responded "I build and repair things, mostly".
