Earth, also known as Terra or Sol-3, is the third rocky planet in the Solar System. Possessing the only known balance of atmospheric conditions, gravity, and temperature conducive to multicellular life, Earth is the homeworld for most of the universe's known plants and animals. It is also the homeworld of the Human race, making it central to most of the species' exploits.
