Why if this page is about Flight Director does it mention the "Mission commander" as being the Authority in MC? Mission Commander is responsible for the Astronauts, and cannot influence or order any member of MC. If any member of MC gives the Mission commander an order, the mission commander must follow it, thus showing that the mission commander has no power whatsoever in MC.
