We All Live In A Drywall Habitat

The song Drywall Habitat is a parody song of The Beatles famous song Yellow Submarine. The song describes astronauts running around the Habitat screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs and banging very hard on every wall of the habitat. Some speculate the astronauts were trying to lure aliens to the spacecraft, and others just felt they wanted to ignore mission integrity and annoy MC sitting on the other side of the walls.

Origins

Drywall Habitat was first sung during the 2008-09 mission Genesis to Iapetus. Tired astronauts began the song which was sung for long periods of time starting in late evening and ending around midnight. During the mission there were no set lyrics, but afterwards the lyrics to the song were typed up and posted on the wall of the habitat by Maclean Rouble.
