GUIDO

GUIDO is the officer in Mission Control responsible for observing the flight path of the Habitat and offering suggestions to keep the Habitat from crashing while in flight. The GUIDO software receives telemetry data from the main orbit program and displays it along with a topographical map of a selected planet. The GUIDO program also is responsible for selecting landing destinations (which appear as "TARGET" in the main orbit program.
