Stefan, I seriously have something written up, that is much more user-friendly. If I'm going to do something, I do it. ---Q-Cumber 11:53, 11 March 2010 (EST)

Sorry, again. This was just because Lauren asked for some help in getting started on the wiki. I had written up some basic stuff for her, so I though, hell, if I have this in email format, why not just post it, and then Ben can either use or delete it as he chooses. I didn't mean to step on your toes or insinuate that you wouldn't do it. -- Stefanido 11:57, 11 March 2010 (EST)
Yeah, I didn't mean to sound snarky. We should really get better at organizing; I created this topic but no one wants to use it. ---Q-Cumber 15:37, 11 March 2010 (EST)

Material

&#124 can be used to create the vertical bar | character. Just make sure to end the code in a semicolon. This is useful when making conditional rows in tables. -- Stefanido 12:40, 12 March 2010 (EST)

Diction

I looked up extant after changing it to existent. I recognize that it is a word but this page should be user friendly, which I feel justifies the change. Burn 11:22pm, 16 March 2010 (EST)

Your displeasure saddens me. -- Stefanido 12:31, 22 March 2010 (EDT)

Replacement for Style Guide

Should this article replace the Style Guide? I vote yes, once there's content here. We shouldn't be pointing people to many places to get the same sort of information.

Alternatively, if this page is the "how-to" page, then the Style Guide could be made up of edicts such as: "Profile pictures will always be scaled to 300px" "When in doubt, use the singular and redirect the plural" "Always sign your posts!" -- Stefanido 15:16, 23 March 2010 (EDT)
