LAN Party

A LAN Party, where LAN stands for Local Area Network, is when a group of people connect their computers on an aforementioned LAN and play video games. Spacesim usually holds LAN parties on school holidays and PD Days; these usually occur at IGO's (formally IGO Cyber House), which has a variety of games and computers and an hourly rate to use the premises. The most common games played are Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 1942 in terms of FPS (First Person Shooter) games, while the strategy games most commonly played are Civilization 4 and Starcraft.
