On the last night of Daedalus, Stefan De Young arrived in Mission Control at 440 Albert to discover that no one had been appointed Flight Director of the night shift. After brief consideration and no consultation with current sim members, Stefan appointed Nick to the position of Interim Flight Director, awaiting the return of Mission Control Commander Ben Paul.
