Dr. Jim Magwood is the current admiral, or chief administrator of the OCESS.Dr. Magwood has been the teacher advisor for several years now, and has kept the OCESS on course through the worst period of its history, that is, the move back from the Media Centre to the Tech building, as well as the Double Cohort, a move of the Ontario government that cost the OCESS most of its senior members.
Dr. Magwood steered the OCESS clear of the tumultuous sea of chaos that was the education system at that time by helping new mission commanders adjust to their responsibilities, writing amazing software when the previous system CMES "kicked the bucket", as well as supervising all work sessions and the majority of the main mission.
On top of all that he also teaches science at Lisgar.
Without Dr. Magwood, the OCESS would be no more, and would not have been for several years. The OCESS owes him more than can be appreciated.
