The official Spacesim motto during the mission, also called the Golden Rule, is "Nothing Goes In Or Out". This refers to keeping the simulation more realistic by maintaining the illusion that Mission Control is too far away from the Habitat to help it in any physical sense. It also discourages such things as meta-simulation thinking or anything else that would ruin the supension of disbelief required to run a Mission like the one run by the OCESS.
