Mr. Prichett was a teacher at Lisgar Collegiate Institute for over thirty years, where he founded the OBESS.
Accomplishments
Though primarily a physics teacher, he was also heavily involved in student activities. He was the teacher advisor of the Student Enrichment Committee, the University Mini-courses administrator, and the Shad Valley International liaison. He was the also the founder of the Ottawa Board of Education Space Simulation. In 1996, Mr. Prichett received the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching of Science, Technology, and Mathematics, primarily due to his contributions to the Space Simulation program.
