Every year, the members of Space Sim design a unique mission badge to commemerate the completion of the [[mission]], much like NASA does. These mission badges are usualy sewn onto the flight suits of the [[astronauts]] who accomplished the [[mission]]. There has been a tradition of keeping a copy of the year's mission badge in a glass case in the [[office]], although this case is easily broken. Though Spacesim has not made a mission badge for the last several years, they have revived the idea this year with great success.

Patch vs. Badge

Officially it is referred to as a Mission Patch but the 2005-06 year began referred to it informally as a Mission Badge or simply Badge.
