The blame list is created by the Sim members of a given year and was a list of members in the order in which to allot blame for a problem. The list was also referred to as A BIT FOO, or as the acronym stands for: Assign Blame in the Following Order Only. In its more recent incarnations, It is more a list of different people, concepts, inside jokes and events to which blame for various problems during the Mission are being put to.

Origin

The blame list started in the 2000-01 year, under David Owen and Gabrielle Wilson. At that time, the list was simply an in-joke, until the Astronauts used their allocated signing space on the Airlock to write the list down. The same list was continued in the 2001-02 year, and was referred to constantly during the move to 440 Albert Street. The list remained relatively unchanged throughout that year. Use of the list was discontinued until the 2005-06 year, when some members found the original list on a piece of Hawking Airlock. After another hiatus, another blame list was created during the 2009-10 Mission.
