:Historically, the SLINCE drive was included as a backup system to appease Ross Green, who was pushing for it to be the AYSE III drive. Back when we were desiging AYSE III, we had 4 main proposals. In the end, the SLINCE drive lost, but was then selected to be our "backup system" to send the habitat on a 1-way trip home. Your explanation of its operability is a bit off, and I can expand it if you want. This definitely falls into the pseudo-science category, and possibly also deserves a "Lore" flag. I personally have no issues with it being relegated to "lore" and to "no-longer-true/in-use", but that's your call. As for if it deserves an article, something should be written up, yes, but what spin you put on it is up to you. - Avacar 16:46, 15 April 2006 (EDT) | :Historically, the SLINCE drive was included as a backup system to appease Ross Green, who was pushing for it to be the AYSE III drive. - Historically, the SLINCE drive was included as a backup system to appease Ross Green, who was pushing for it to be the AYSE III drive. - Avacar 16:46, 15 April 2006 (EDT)
