The 1989 Mission to Luna was an ISSS exchange mission to Luna. It took place at McCullough High School, The Woodlands, Texas. It was the first mission involving Lisgar; six students from Japan also participated.
Lisgar sent Kristin Coupland as Communications Specialist on the Lunar Habitat and David Danylewich was a Remote Manipulator Specialist on the Space Station. Hassan Masum (Computer Specialist), Fahim Sheikh (Mockup Specialist), Elizabeth Brown (Public Relations Specialist), and Jeffrey Cavill (CAPCOM) were also involved in Mission Control. James Wood was a Computer Specialist.
