 On the last night of [[Mission]] [[Daedalus 2010]], [[Stefan De Young]] arrived in [[Mission Control]] at [[440 Albert]] to discover that no one had been appointed [[Flight Director]] of the [[night shift]]. After brief consideration and no consultation with current sim members, Stefan appointed Nick to the position of Interim Flight Director, awaiting the return of [[Mission Control Commander]] [[Ben Paul]]. However, Mr. Paul did not seek to appoint another director, and Nick retained the position until 0500 hours Saturday. During his shift he acquitted himself exceedingly well, and after a short nap returned to duty at 1100.
